August 2010 - Seaside at Home
Our Seaside at Home in August aimed to provide older folk with a couple of days break from the usual routine - as close as we could to a seaside break without actually being there! Over two days we had 92 guests from our local area. We decorated the church to look like the seaside with shells, sand and sea gulls and we had a variety of activities such as craft, flower arranging, carpet bowls, reminiscing, nail pamper and quizzes. Christmas Day Dinner 2010
On Christmas Day twenty of us sat down to our Christmas dinner in the lounge at St. Peter's, the oldest of the guests being 103. It was a great time for all those attending and for those who served. We all enjoyed a good party atmosphere. We would like to thank all those who supported us financially, helping in the kitchen, preparing vegetables and driving. Our guests were extremely grateful to be bought to church and had a wonderful time; the memory of the day will be with them for a long time. They received the love of God in action.

Celebrating 150 Years of St Paul's
Saturday, 29th October 2011
It was a joy to welcome the Bishop of Rochester, James Langstaff, to St Paul's on 29th October to round off our year of celebrations for the 150th anniversary of St Paul's. It was a lovely service during which Bishop James preached an inspiring sermon. The church looked beautiful, decorated completely in white, and the delicious refreshments in the school hall afterwards rounded off a memorable day.
