Finding St Peter's

Hextable is midway between Swanley and Wilmington on the B258.  The church is behind trees on a corner plot beside the pedestrian controlled crossing, opposite the Post Office. The post code is BR8 7RH.

BY CAR
If coming from outside the area, turn off the M25 at Junction 3 (NB. from the north there are two Junction 3 turn-offs; take the second which is marked for Swanley), and at the roundabout take the small exit (heading West) marked Swanley B2173.

After about three quarters of a mile go straight over a roundabout, after 100 yards turn right at the next roundabout and after about 25 yards go staright over the third roundabout. 

In three quarters of a mile you will enter Hextable.  Immediately after the pedestrian controlled traffic lights turn left into College Road.  The church is now to your left.  Vehicle access is at the end of the site, and leads to parking behind the church.

BY BUS
The church (run by Arriva) is on the 477 bus route, which runs from Bluewater, through Dartford, Wilmington, TimetableHextable, Swanley, Crockenhill, St Mary's Cray and Orpington.

BY RAIL
The nearest station is Swanley, which is on the Victoria line out of London.  From the platform at Swanley, turn right at the top of the stairs to exit on the booking hall side of the station.  The 477 bus (see above) can
Journey Plannerbe caught from a bus stop about a 3 minute walk away.  As an alternative, taxis operate from the station, or if the weather is fine, the church is about a 20 minute walk away.
