Finding St Paul's

Nestled behind the Glebe in Swanley Village. St Paul's is a pretty church (c.1862), very popular with wedding couples, and well worth seeking out. The post code is BR8 7PJ.

BY CAR
If coming from outside the area, turn off the M25 at Junction 3 (NB. from the north there are two J3 turn-offs; take the second which is marked for Swanley), and at the roundabout take the small exit (heading West) marked Swanley B2173.

After about three quarters of a mile go straight over a roundabout, after 100 yards turn right at the next roundabout and after another 25 yards go straight over the third roundabout.

In half a mile you will come to a cross roads (Five Wents), where the main road ahead bears left, there is a small turning to the left and a larger turning (Highlands Hill) to the right.  Take this right turn and continue up the hill for a quarter of a mile, taking the left turn at the small roundabout, at the top.

Follow this road downhill for 200 yards to find the church driveway on the right, immediately before the road narrows to a single track lane.  Please note that the church driveway is closed to vehicles (but not pedestrians) during school hours and at night.  200 yards down the driveway is the church, behind a small carpark.
