BAPTISM ENQUIRIESSt Pauls Font
We are delighted if you are thinking about bringing your child for baptism (christening) and want to bring up your child in the Christian faith. In order to investigate the process, it is always a good idea to come to a morning service and see the spiritual home in which the family will grow up in. This will give you a good idea as to spirituality of the local Christian family. After the service you can meet our Vicar and introduce the members of the family.
Thanksgiving Services are also arranged by mutual consent. Thanksgiving services are not dependent on any faith commitment by the parents but are a way of acknowledging and thanking God for the safe arrival of the child whilst also naming the child publicly.

WEDDING MATTERSWedding Rings
St Paul's church is a popular choice for weddings with its traditional feel and picturesque setting. St Peter's too has been used for weddings with a more modern feel, more space and facilities for catering all within the same building.

We are always pleased to talk to you about any plans for marriage. As part of the Wedding Preparations, we do recommend that you attend the Marriage Course that begins every January and runs for approximately four weeks. Please contact our Wedding Team organisers who will start the process and help you through the legal, pastoral and Wedding Day preparations so that the whole experience can be thoroughly enjoyed by you and your partner.

If you would like further information about getting married or having your child baptised at St Peter's or St Paul's contact the church office or come along to a service and introduce yourselves.
